The great room has a vaulted ceiling, river rock stone fireplace, and stained concrete flooring opening to the rustic kitchen with pine countertops and farmhouse sink. Two master bedrooms on the main floor share the old cabin charm with antique tin chair railing and antique painted accent walls. Each full bath has pine counter tops and tile showers. The upstairs bunk room has rough hewn pine walls, tin ceiling, two bunk beds and a full bed and en-suite bathroom with tub enclosed with tin. A rocking chair porch greets you at the front door and a rocking chair porch leads you out the back to the picturesque vista of corn fields and distant mountains that can be enjoyed at night beside the huge iron bucket firepit. The white pine siding on the barn is milled locally and the large sliding doors come from a train Depot in Ohio. Mosey on down to the river front and enjoy barbeques and fish fries with your fresh caught trout and sleep over in the river cabin listening to the babble of Sautee Creek throughout the night. The draw of Sautee Nacoochee is the Center for Creative Arts, the Old Sautee Market, Sweetwater Coffee Shop, and fine dining at the Harvest at Habersham. This small mountain hamlet is rich in music, dancing, art, food, hiking, history and culture.
